NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 5, 2006--The International Securities Exchange (NYSE: ISE) announced today that Mike Knesevitch has been appointed as Business Director, Alternative Markets. Mr. Knesevitch will head ISE's alternative markets business with primary responsibility for the commercialization and management of Longitude LLC, the recently announced derivatives platform acquisition. The alternative markets business falls within ISE's Corporate Initiatives division.


Mr. Knesevitch has extensive industry experience with particular expertise in how changes in technology and regulation have redefined trading instruments. Most recently, he was Managing Partner at Advanced Solutions Group, a professional services company where he consulted to a range of trading industry clients, including Trade Exchange Network Limited, a Dublin based trading exchange. Previously, he worked at Digiterra and was an independent futures and options trader.

Mr. Knesevitch has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and holds the Project Management Professional (PMP) designation from the Project Management Institute.
