Dropouts from 2008 Presidential Race
The Exchange has listed a series of contracts on who will dropout of the race to be President in 2008. These contracts can be found under Politics -- 2008 US Election -- Dropouts from 2008 Presidential Race.

This contract will settle (expire) at 100 ($10.00) if the individual named in the contract announces they are formally dropping out of the race to be President in 2008 before 11:59:59pm ET on the date specified in the contract.

The contract will settle (expire) at 0 ($0.00) if the individual does not make such an announcement before 11:59:59pm ET on the date specified in the contract.

Expiry will be based on official and public announcements made by the individual and as reported in three independent and reliable media sources.

The Exchange reserves the right to invoke Contract Rule 1.8 (Time Protection) if deemed appropriate.

Any changes to the result after the contract has expired will not be taken into account - Exchange Rule 1.4
